Ribs shipped worldwide
Our commercial Ribs and boats may be shipped worldwide. Recent assignments have included Oman, Hong Kong, Singapore, Venice, Switzerland, Italy, France and Ireland.

At a glance
Open Ribs
The smallest boats on fleet are tenders for support use within ports and rivers. We also operate nine open Ribs either 7.8m or 8.8m in length all coded to MCA Cat 3, which are used to provide both patrol and cable lay support inshore.
Cabin Ribs
We have eight Cabin Ribs on the commercial Rib fleet ranging from 9m twin outboard fast patrol boats to a twin jet drive 15m Crew Transfer Vessel launched in June 2018. Our 12m Delta dive support vessel ‘Tempest’ is fitted with a three diver IMCA compliant dive spread.
Amphibious Vessels
Commercial RIB Charter operates a versatile and innovative fleet of amphibious vessels. These specialised crafts are indispensable in tidal wind farms, ensuring round-the-clock crew access, adapting to the challenging terrains of rising sea beds and fluctuating sea levels.
Crew
Solent Rib Charter employ full time, several commercially endorsed yachtmasters with all the tickets (such as STCW95) required by the major energy providers for work on windfarms and cable lay projects. Bareboat charter is also available.
Applications
We specialise in the offshore energy industry, civil engineering, diving and military. We are a registered vendor with the BBC and Sky, our commercial boats have special adaptations to facilitate film and television. Credits include ‘Quantum of Solace’. Several boats are Police boat coded and we supply several UK police forces.
