7.8m and 8.8m Ribs

Fully equipped Bareboat Ribs

The smaller 7.8m Ribs are great for use in the West Country where mooring restrictions on boat length are more prevalent. The 8.8m Ribs are very comfortable on choppy Solent waters – ideal family boats. Boats are fitted with colour plotter, sounder, VHF, liferaft and are supplied with lifejackets and a full inventory of safety equipment.

Let us know the ages of children so that we may supply the correct lifejackets. All of our boats are immaculately turned out and equipped to the highest standard – we use only the leading brands and code them via the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) to the highest level permissible. When a card is purchased, days do not have to be taken consecutively. Cards remain valid for three years from the date of invoice.

This heavily discounted option is perfect for week long holidays. Note that this excludes Cowes Week and other major maritime events.

Experience & Qualifications

We need to know about your boating experience and a damage deposit may also be required. Prices exclude VAT. In the UK, charterers require a RYA Powerboat Level 2 or ICC ticket. Let us help you obtain either.

We offer the best parts of ownership with smart unbranded well maintained Ribs, delivered shiny, working and full of fuel. Avoid:

  • Annual berthing (£8,032 in our home marina)
  • Annual depreciation (10% of circa £85,000)
  • Annual servicing
  • Endless cleaning
  • Endless maintenance
  • Trailer maintenance

The prices look expensive – boating is ruinously expensive; however a 10 day card is a fraction of the cost of owning a Rib with none of the hassle.
