Catamarans

Sentinel is an MCA Category 2 coded catamaran for operations up to 60 miles offshore. It’s small draft, 20 knot cruising speed, 4-point anchor spread and wide range of top-spec equipment makes it unique in the UK commercial vessel market.

Vulcan is an MCA Category 2 coded 17m multi-role catamaran for operations up to 60 miles offshore. Its shallow draft, robust seakeeping design, suspension seating and 20 + knot cruising speed make it one of the most versatile vessels in the UK commercial market, ideal for crew transfers, surveying and dive support.

Gladiator is an MCA Category 2 coded 13 m multi-role catamaran certified for 12 passengers. Its shallow draft, durable build and high-spec equipment make it well-suited to offshore transfers, survey work and general support operations, offering strong performance across the UK commercial vessel market.

CRC have many years of shallow draft crew transfer vessel experience and our catamarans are approved on many UK wind farms. All vessels are fitted with suspension seating for 12 PAX, galley and heads, wide push-on bows and cruising speeds of 25kts – all with very shallow drafts of under a meter. We run a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) and Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and have vessels pre-audited by some of the largest wind farm operators in the world.

All our catamarans can be fitted with survey poles, A-Frames and davits for launching and recovering equipment. CRC Sentinel carries a deck crane on the aft deck (920kg @ 7 meters) and all three catamarans hold dangerous goods certificates and cargo fixing points as standard..

CRC Sentinel, the largest in our fleet, boasts a fixed 4-point anchor spread, 3 diver air/nitrox dive panel, on-board compressor and virtually all equipment from cylinders and umbilicals to lights and cameras. Our other two catamarans can also be fitted with mobile dive spreads if required.
