Why Cowes

Centre of the Solent

A great departure point for Rib Charter or Bareboat Rib Charter (without a skipper), Cowes is at the very centre of the Solent giving easy access to all of the most popular destinations.

At a glance

Panerai Cup

The Panerai Cup in July each year – see What’s On, is our ‘selection’ of the other major annual Cowes based regattas. The Panerai is a true visual treat with a wonderful entry of classic racing yachts, and a Rib is the best possible way to follow the action.

Cowes Harbour

The harbour is the town, and thus a great place to explore by Rib as well as journeying up the Medina river through endless moorings, historic boat yards and past yachty landmarks such as the Folly Inn with it’s own pier.

Cowes Yacht Haven

Our company is not based in Cowes but for skippered charter there is no cost difference in starting from Cowes. Typically we operate from the Yacht Haven right next to the High Street but will happily start from any point.

Bareboat

Please enquire about delivery charges for starting a bareboat charter from Cowes. Many bareboat charter clients who holiday on the Island will chose Cowes as the overnight berth for the Rib not least because of its close proximity to Seaview.

The Solent and beyond

While the Solent is where we specialise, our services extend across the entire UK, enabling us to support clients nationwide with seamless delivery and consistent high-quality service.

Locations
Several rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) travel together toward a shoreline lined with houses, boats, and marina buildings. Passengers in life jackets sit facing forward as the boats create wakes behind them. Union Jack flags and masts of docked sailboats are visible along the waterfront.
