Why Hamble

Position

Ideal for the central Solent, the Hamble is convenient for journies to Southampton, Portsmouth and Cowes. The mouth of the Hamble is in Southampton water which whilst industrial, does provide a large body of sheltered water.

At a glance

Marinas and boat yards

Hamble marinas include Hamble Point at the entrance to the river, Port Hamble, Mercury, Universal, Swanick, Elephant boatyard, Deacons, Cabin boatyard, R.K.Marine boatyard and Eastlands boatyard.

Yacht and sailing clubs

Several yacht clubs and sailing clubs are also based on the river including the Royal Southern Yacht Club, the Royal Air Force Yacht Club, Warsash Sailing Club and Hamble River Sailing Club.

Location

Our Ribs aren’t berthed in the River but do operate from all locations within the Hamble on demand. We have a flat pricing structure and the start location does not have any impact on cost. For bareboats, please talk to us about delivery charges to the location that best suits you.

What our customers say
