Portsmouth seems determined to be the premier UK coastal city, a reputation enhanced by the hosting of the 2015 and 2016 America’s Cup events. Porstmouth has encouraged Sir Ben Ainslie to build the Landrover BAR team headquarters in a stunning waterside development.

Portsmouth is a city that has arisen from the ashes of carpet bombing, through the disaster of mid twentieth century architecture to its current vibrant renaissance. Exciting development seems to be taking place everywhere. Gunwharf Quay marina is part of an inspired retail development and adjacent to the landmark Spinnaker tower.

Easy access

A great departure point for Rib Charter or Bareboat Rib Charter (without a skipper), Portsmouth is well placed within the eastern Solent with excellent access to many of the most popular Solent destinations.

Portsmouth Harbour

The harbour itself is interesting, well worth a tour to see the fleet, dockyards, commercial port and the upper reaches to Portchester Castle and Port Solent Marina, to say nothing of the three imposing Palmerston forts guarding the approaches.

Location

There is insufficient demand for us to base Ribs at Portsmouth but we operate a flat pricing structure throughout the Solent with no additional cost to starting a charter in Portsmouth. Please enquire for bareboat delivery costs. Typically our Ribs operate from Gunwharf Quay or just as easily Gosport / Haslar marinas on the western side of the harbour.

While the Solent is where we specialise, our services extend across the entire UK, enabling us to support clients nationwide with seamless delivery and consistent high-quality service.
