The past year has felt as if we’ve sprung a leak in a storm, having to franticly bail out to stay afloat! However, over the past couple of months restrictions have been easing and skies clearing as life gets underway again.
June 22nd was marked as ‘freedom day’ and the end of all lockdown restrictions but with the new Delta variant causing a rise in infections this has now been pushed back to Monday 19th July.
The delay has ruined many people’s plans and events, leaving an overall feeling of frustration.
We are lucky having had most restrictions already lifted for our charters as we are based outdoors and our Ribs are all open air. So if you’ve been let down by the lockdown push back, why not treat yourself to a relaxing day out on the water?
Here’s a reminder as to what we are able to currently do until all restrictions are lifted in July.
Bareboat Charters
No restrictions other than usual capacity of the vessel, this means up to 8 people on our 7.8m Ribs or 10 people on our 8.8m Ribs.
Corporate Charters
We can host up to 4,000 people for a corporate event… sadly we don’t quite have enough Ribs to host that many people, however we do have a fleet of 16 open Ribs each capable of holding up to 9 guests and for larger events we can bring in third party boats to help accommodate. Another benefit to our Ribs is that they keep your group split into work bubbles and helps maintain social distancing throughout the day.
We can also help to book in a BBQ lunch overlooking the Solent to break the day up and create an event your team will be talking about for weeks to come!
We look forward to ‘freedom day’ in July but there’s still lots we can do with our charters currently, so give our team a call on 01590 607101 to discuss booking your next charter.
