2025 Dates on the Solent
30th May – 2nd June 2025: Cowes Classics Week: Cowes Classics Week is all about racing traditional yachts and enjoying fantastic social events ashore. Furthermore, the event also hosts a classic car show in Cowes on the Sunday.
7th June 2025: Round the Island Race: Join over 1,200 boats in this iconic, annual 50 nautical mile race around the Isle of Wight. Often coined as the “Race for all”, it’s a demonstration of teamwork, endurance and most of all, great fun!
4th – 6th July 2025: Taittinger Royal Solent Yacht Club Regatta: Raise a toast to the Taittinger Regatta! The event kicks off on the 4th of July with a day of training, followed by two days of exhilarating racing on the picturesque Western Solent.
26th July 2025: Rolex Fastnet Race Start: The 100th anniversary of the iconic Rolex Fastnet Race – this is not an event to miss! Join us to witness the start of this legendary offshore race, a milestone event that promises to be even more spectacular than ever before.
2nd – 8th August 2025: Cowes Week: Cowes Week has a reputation of sailing heritage that spans across the globe. The event is the perfect combination of thrilling races on the water with fantastic social events ashore. Attracting tens of thousands of spectators each year, Cowes Week is a highlight for sailing enthusiasts and spectators alike. Once again, Solent Rib Charter will be the official charter supplier for 2025, so we’re here to assist with any of your charter requests.
19th – 28th September 2025: Southampton Boat Show: End the season on a high note at the Southampton Boat Show. This annual event features the latest vessels, gear and all things maritime – so it is only fitting to arrive by sea!
