We’re back in the office after a Christmas break that included great food, time with family and some much needed R&R, we’re now feeling re-charged and ready for all that 2022 will bring. It seems like that sentiment is shared by many of our customers as our diary is already filling up for the summer season ahead!
With no restrictions to be eased, we’re set for an early start this year with plenty of events and exciting things to do across the Solent. Here’s a couple of the top events on the water to get excited for this year.
Round the Island Race – Saturday 25th June 2022
This is certainly a date you’re going to want to keep in your diary, the Solent is transformed with a wash of colour as the fleet rounds the Needles with spinnakers flying. It’s a popular day for our Bareboat clients who enjoy getting out to experience the action on the water.
Cowes Week – Saturday 30th July – Friday 5th August 2022
By far the largest event to take place on the Solent, becoming a must in many boaters diaries. Cowes Week provides not only spectacular sailing action but also a range of shoreside activities and hospitality which creates a hugely entertaining day out for families and corporate parties. This is by far the busiest week in our diary every year so be sure to book in fast to avoid disappointment.
