For Solent Rib Charter, the new year brings new starters! Jack Chartres and Theo Glennie joined the team just before Christmas, and are well underway in their SRC journey.
Meet Jack
Jack, who is a graduate in Law and Business from Bristol University, is a familiar face within the company. Jack has previously worked for The Teambuilding Company, Floating Pontoon Hire and Commercial Rib Charter, and if you’ve been around for a while, you may also recognise Jack from bareboat handovers back in 2018! Jack’s brother, Charlie, is a familiar face within the company too, and is often working on offshore wind farms for Commercial Rib Charter.
Having a Rib himself, Jack is well rehearsed at navigating the Solent, and can often be spotted wake boarding and water skiing when the weather permits. Keen to get out on the water this summer, Jack has recently completed his Yacht Master theory exams, and now has his focus set on his Advanced Powerboat course next week.
Meet Theo
Since graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in Business Management, Theo went on to work in sales before being drawn to the idea of a life by the sea. Being the third Glennie to have joined the SRC crew, he’s certainly following in his older brothers footsteps! Theo has just passed his Yacht Master theory exams and is cracking straight onto his Advanced Powerboat course with Jack.
Growing up in Lymington has given Theo a passion for the water, as well as a love for all things engine powered! If not out on the Solent you will find Theo working underneath his car… with mixed success.
