Something different for a Friday afternoon…
This afternoon 250 miniature lifeboats will sail down the River Thames in a race for the chance to name a Class D Lifeboat.
The RNLI Alternative Boat Race race will take place along the same one mile stretch that Cambridge and Oxford teams will compete on tomorrow in the BNY Mellon Boat Races.
All money raised from this event will go to the RNLI’s lifesaving work.
