It’s only February but our diary is starting to fill up, we already have several ‘hot dates’ with all of our Ribs booked out! It seems as if the confidence is well and truly back and people are ready to start getting together in person again, especially so on the corporate side.
We’re ready for the return of our corporate clients, having used downtime to run checks over our Solent Rib Treasure Hunt to make sure it’s up to date. This year we have also managed to write up two new locations to add to our hunt!
Beaulieu
Bucklers Hard is teeming with historical relevance, the hamlet which consists of several Georgian cottages that run down to the riverbanks and was originally built by the second Duke of Montagu. Initially intended to be a free port of trade with the West Indies, it quickly become a key area for shipbuilding to supply ships to the Royal Navy.
Needless to say, we’ve been able to create plenty of questions and challenges to add to our Treasure Hunt for this location.
Southampton
One of the major port cities in the UK, the city can trace its roots back all the way to the Stone Age with archaeological evidence suggesting the areas inhabitance back then. Expanding in the 11th-13th century to include the city walls, parts of which still stand today even though Southampton suffered heavy damage from bombing during the Second World War.
Again, it’s easy to see how we’ve been able to find tons of interesting clues, questions, and challenges for teams to compete in around the local area.
If you’re interested in running our Solent Rib Treasure Hunt for your team this year, then please give us a call on 01590 607101 to discuss.
