This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday, perfect for a day out on the water coupled with dining at a restaurant on the Isle of Wight! Or perhaps you are looking to get away for the weekend and need an exciting transfer over to Cowes or Yarmouth…
Check out our top 3 Rib ‘dates’ for Valentine’s Day
1. Romantic, sunset trip to the Needles
Starting from Lymington Yacht Haven, cruise up Lymington River before heading west through Hurst Narrows, past Hurst Castle towards the Needles. A Rib charter is the perfect way to enjoy both the Needles and the surrounding area. Before setting back to Lymington, why not stop by Yarmouth for a quick drink or romantic meal, looking out to the Solent.
2. Dinner at The Folly
Journey up the Medina River through endless moorings and historic boat yard to The Folly who are offering a special Valentine’s Day set menu. We also often recommend the Folly Inn not least because it has a private pier and is thus great fun to arrive at by Rib. “There is no love sincerer than the love of food” – George Bernard Shaw.

Blast over to Yarmouth and spend the evening at the beautiful 17th century townhouse The George Hotel.
