We’re halfway through August and what a month it’s been so far! We’ve had the return of Cowes Week which created that familiar ‘buzz’ of activity, followed by the 44Cup making an appearance in Cowes. Running over 4 days, the 44Cup brought a high-class racing spectacle to our waters with a fleet of RC44 one-design yachts, helmed by some of the best sailors in the world in a true showcase of skill.
It’s been a welcome change to the previous year of lockdown and social distancing which meant that little to no events could take place, especially not with spectators.
The Solent has well and truly come alive again as a hub of competitive and pleasure boating activity, making for a spectacular day out with so much to do and see. With this, our Ribs have been in high demand as people have been getting out to enjoy and experience the atmosphere.
We still have plenty of availability in our diary for weekdays in August and going into September, so you haven’t missed out yet if you’re still hoping to plan a charter day out with us. Now we just need this heatwave that’s continuously been promised to materialise!
