In a year that seems to be full of negatives we look hopefully towards 2021. Last week a potential vaccine was announced that could help control Covid19 and with it comes hope that next year will bring more normality. With brighter days ahead, we also have some exciting news of our own, in November 2020 SRC officially took on Lymington Boat Club!
What is Lymington Boat Club?
Lymington Boat Club offers a more flexible way to enjoy boating on the Solent than conventional bareboat charter.
Club members enjoy unlimited access to a diverse fleet of beautifully presented powerboats including Axopars, Ribs and a Merry Fisher for a single annual fee.
Membership is carefully controlled to ensure that members enjoy unlimited access every day of the year. Lymington Boat Club represents the perfect balance between enjoying the water on highly desirable modern boats with the freedoms of an owner, but without deprecation, without berthing fees, without maintenance costs, without risk and without hassle. After booking a boat using our app, members simply turn up, enjoy, and go home happy!
How does this relate to SRC?
Lymington Boat Club is a trading division of Solent Rib Charters Ltd. however both companies will still run as separate businesses. Boat Club members enjoy exclusive use of the Club boats; they are not available for charter to those who are not Club members. However for those who are long standing bareboat customers of ours, this might be a new alternative to enjoy a fleet of different powerboats.
Availability is currently limited as we keep numbers low enough to ensure members always have availability to use the boats when requested. If we have a high demand for the club we will be looking to increase the fleet in the near future, which means our members cap will also increase.
