Here at Solent Rib Charter we like to pride ourselves on keeping the fleet fully operational and in immaculate condition. On the odd occasion that something doesn’t go to plan, we will go above and beyond to solve any problem. We had a shining example of this in the summer of 2016 when a bareboat client’s GPS system failed. This was an easy fix, requiring a replacement unit to be swapped in… however the client had chartered the boat for 3 weeks on the Isle Of Mull.
With couriers estimating a 5 day delivery time and no local dealers, the only thing left to do was send two people (to share the driving) with the replacement unit. After the 552 mile drive from Lymington and a ferry crossing, Christian & Dominic replaced the GPS within 24 hours. A long way to go for a 5 minute job but a satisfied customer as a result!
The guys, in return, were rewarded with some stunning scenery on the drive up along with some fantastic weather!
