Spring has already delivered more sunshine than the whole of 2024 combined. With the sun hopefully here to stay and you’re dreaming of sea breezes and sun-soaked coastlines, this summer is the perfect time to hire a bareboat and explore the Solent. Whether you’re a seasoned skipper or simply love the idea of complete freedom on the water, bareboat chartering offers a unique and exhilarating way to discover the Solent entirely on your terms
What is bareboating?
A bareboat charter means hiring a vessel without a skipper or crew, you’re in full control! From navigating and mooring to plotting your own course, every decision is yours to make. It’s like boating without the training wheels, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace and on your own terms.
Why bareboat this summer?
This year is packed with incredible coastal events, making it a fantastic time to be out on the water.
Here’s why you should consider a bareboat charter:
Total freedom
No schedule. No fixed itinerary. Just you and your guests, and the open sea. With a bareboat, you can:
– Drop anchor at hidden coves
– Moor up at vibrant Island locations.
– Change your plans at a moment’s notice – whether the weather shifts or you simply fancy a new destination.
